Jeffrey A. Kappen
Professor and Consultant, Management, Leadership & International Business
Entrepreneur, scholar, and avid traveler, Jeff Kappen, has enjoyed a career helping others discover the world and shape their place in it. In his free time, he's an amateur musician, nascent golfer, occasional kayaker, and enthusiastic linguist. He volunteers for organizations in citizen diplomacy, cultural events, and youth empowerment.
Jeff has spent nearly twenty years working with companies from start-ups to the Fortune 100, which included over three years working and studying in Europe and South America. An associate professor at Drake University, he is currently researching integration efforts among emerging markets, transnational institutions and governance, and linguistic diversity in organizations.
Jeff finished his Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in French, Russian, and International Relations from Beloit College, earned an MBA from the University of Wisconsin, and completed his PhD in Management at the University of Massachusetts.
"The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page!"
